Get Focused. Get Found. Get Connected.
The Elevation Workflow is a practical, repeatable process for turning expertise into visibility, relationships and results. It starts by getting clear about what matters, builds a body of useful knowledge and content around that focus, and then turns visibility into meaningful connections, conversations and action.

From thought to relationship
The original workflow moves through nine connected activities: Contemplate, Consume, Curate, Create, Collect, Connect, Converse, Convert and Create Community. It is not a one-time campaign. It is a cycle: learn, contribute, connect, listen, improve and repeat.
Get Focused
Contemplate. Start with purpose. Who are you trying to serve? What problems can you credibly help solve? What language does your audience use? What do you want to be known for?
Consume. Deliberately learn from the best information, people and ideas in your field. Focus determines what deserves your attention—and what does not.
Get Found
Curate. Share useful information with context. Curation demonstrates judgment and helps your audience make sense of an overwhelming amount of information.
Create. Add your own perspective. Articles, videos, presentations, case studies and other useful resources turn what you know into something other people can discover and use.
Collect. Bring your best work together in a durable home base. Over time, that body of work becomes evidence of what you know, how you think and how you can help.
Get Connected
Connect. Visibility is valuable because it creates opportunities to meet the right people—not because attention is an end in itself.
Converse. Move from broadcasting to dialogue. Listen, ask questions and learn what customers, prospects and peers actually need.
Convert. Give people a useful next step. A conversion may be a conversation, an introduction, a subscription, a meeting or ultimately a customer relationship.
Create Community. The strongest relationships compound. Customers, colleagues, partners and advocates can become a community that learns from and contributes to one another.
The workflow in today’s business
The tools have changed dramatically since I first developed and used this approach. Search has changed. Social media has changed. CRM, automation and artificial intelligence have created possibilities that barely existed before. The underlying business problem has not changed nearly as much: companies still struggle when marketing, sales and technology operate as disconnected activities.
That is why the Elevation Workflow remains useful. Technology is not the strategy. A website is not the strategy. AI is not the strategy. CRM is not the strategy. They are tools. The work begins by deciding what you are trying to accomplish, then choosing and connecting the right tools to accomplish it.
Get Focused. Get Found. Get Connected.
That is the Elevation Workflow—and it is the foundation for how Todd Lohenry Consulting approaches marketing, sales and technology.
